Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American journalist. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. She began her career at ESPN in 2016. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to converse in two languages helped her get an employment in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In this role she was able to be a part of national show producers, such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then she was promoted to a reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009, she relocated into Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Then she became anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given greater responsibilities. She also did segments on the Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. In addition, she also hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She was promoted as a sports anchor on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She also served as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' grandparents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born on November of 1985. She also has a younger sibling. In 1992 her family left Mexico and moved to Miami. Her parents divorced soon after in 1995. Her mother got married to an architect from the naval profession known as Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in 2006. It was on a holiday in the summer that she lived with her sibling living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered a job. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, but was already aware of the things she wanted to do. In the end she fell in love with the school. The university offered her an academic major. Her studies were completed and she was accepted to the University as a major studying media and communication studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director at WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was an affiliate. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his passion for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
